About the role#
This 11-week internship program provides hands-on experience in a distribution center environment. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn the daily operations that support our stores and customers. The program focuses on building your skills in supply chain and operations leadership, serving as a pathway for future career opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of product flow, productivity, quality, and safety.
- Partner with distribution center leaders and team members to support daily operational goals.
- Develop leadership skills by communicating expectations and building relationships.
- Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to projects focused on safety and performance.
- Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate accountability in your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field (rising seniors preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work, internships, or campus organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented approach and the ability to handle conflict positively.
Location & details#
- Location: Maumelle, Arkansas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (starting in May).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Status: Paid internship.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Requirements: You must be able to relocate to and reside in the Maumelle area for the duration of the program. The role involves working in a warehouse environment subject to temperature extremes and physical movement.
