About the role#
The KBCM Investment Banking Summer Analyst program offers hands-on experience in transaction execution, ranging from the initial pitch phase through to closing. This internship serves as a direct pipeline for full-time analyst positions upon graduation. You will gain exposure to senior bankers and clients while developing your skills through a mix of structured training and project work.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis for both public and private companies.
- Conduct comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
- Prepare leveraged and discounted cash flow models.
- Assist in drafting offering memoranda and internal committee documents.
- Create client pitch books, management presentations, and board materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior in a four-year undergraduate program.
- Expected graduation date by May 2028.
- Coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through work experience or extracurricular activities.
- High motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

- Compensation: $29 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Overtime is provided for hours worked over 40 per week.
