About the role#
Foresight Bank FFG offers a 10-week summer internship for students or recent graduates interested in commercial banking. You will gain experience by rotating through our company and subsidiary banks. This is a paid, full-time position located in Winnebago, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various departments to learn banking operations.
- Attend client meetings, loan committees, and sales activities.
- Represent the bank at community events.
- Analyze commercial credit risk and prepare loan proposals.
- Monitor compliance with banking regulations.
- Complete a commercial banking special project and present your findings to senior management.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- You are on track to graduate in 2027 or 2028, though recent graduates are also welcome.
- You have completed intermediate-level coursework in accounting and finance.
- You are a self-motivated critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office products.
