About the role#
The Finance Development Program (FDP) Internship is a 10-week summer experience designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to the Finance organization at Regions Bank. Interns support projects that drive business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making while gaining foundational skills for a career in the financial industry. You will be assigned to one of several functional areas, including Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance & Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, or Accounting.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making.
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
- Support strategic initiatives across Finance and other business units.
- Create reports, presentations, and analyses for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance leaders and business partners across the organization.
- Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
- Gain exposure to basic functions and research tasks within your assigned group.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
