About the role#
The ETP Internship in Private Wealth Management offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the financial services industry. Based in St. Louis, this summer program provides exposure to various functions including wealth planning, client service, asset management, and fiduciary trust services. Interns operate as team members, supporting both internal and external client initiatives while participating in training sessions to interact with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of technical and non-technical initiatives across the Wealth Management group.
- Support strategic projects by helping to solve business issues and opportunities.
- Prepare marketing presentations, white papers, factsheets, and flyers.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, including client reporting and analytics.
- Participate in client discussions regarding asset management, investments, financial planning, insurance, lending, tax, accounting, and trust services.
- Assist with standard transactional needs of the client base, such as deposits, payments, and transfers.
- Support research teams with due diligence, selection, and evaluation of investment managers.
- Attend meetings and perform administrative and research tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Major in finance, economics, investment management, marketing, data analytics, management information systems, or a related business field.
- Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week duration of the program.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Active involvement in campus leadership or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
