About the role#
The ETP Intern for Human Resources will complete a 10-week summer internship in Birmingham, Alabama. You will join one of several focus areas, including Learning & Development, Talent Management & Workforce Readiness, HR Operations, Compensation, or Inclusion, Belonging, & Impact. While your work centers on a specific team, the program provides broad exposure to the Human Resources department and the financial industry.
What you'll do#
- Complete a 10-week summer internship.
- Perform research, administrative tasks, and correspondence work.
- Assist with various team projects.
- Participate in networking, teambuilding, and professional development sessions.
- Gain exposure to senior leadership within Human Resources and the broader organization.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site for the full 10-week duration.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Human Resources or a related major is preferred, though all majors are welcome to apply.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Birmingham, Alabama.
- This position is eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 per week.
