About the role#
The 2027 Emerging Talent Program (ETP) Corporate Banking Group Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship focused on Commercial Credit Products. This role provides hands-on experience, training, and coaching within a team environment. Interns will collaborate with senior managers on live projects and participate in a technical curriculum designed to enhance professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Compile market data and conduct in-depth industry and company-specific research.
- Provide fundamental credit analysis, including financial statement analysis and qualitative company performance reviews.
- Evaluate the risk and return parameters of transactions by conducting financial and industry due diligence.
- Develop client pitch materials, internal deal screening memos, and underwriting committee approval memos.
- Support senior Relationship Managers with call planning coordination, production management, and pipeline tracking.
- Ensure quality reporting across sales performance applications and measurement systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May or June 2028.
- Prior internship or work experience in a banking-related field.
- Active involvement in leadership positions or extracurricular activities on campus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without company sponsorship.
