About the role#
The Investment Services Intern position offers students hands-on experience in private wealth and investment services. You will work alongside experienced specialists and advisors to support daily operations and client relations. This internship runs during the Fall 2026 semester, from September 1st to December 10th.
What you'll do#
- Complete one or more key projects to support team goals.
- Assist with banking tasks, process audits, and internal reports.
- Serve as a point of contact for client reception and internal departments.
- Schedule and prepare for client meetings.
- Perform housekeeping duties for advisor accounts.
- Process account maintenance tasks such as address updates and beneficiary changes, including follow-up on completion.
- Prepare and process client mail, including tax documents, forms, and statements.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing or higher, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management, project management, and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to learn quickly.
- An interest in working for Simmons Bank.

- This is a paid, part-time internship.
- Positions are available on-site in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Little Rock, Arkansas.
