About the role#
The Commercial Banking Intern supports the Commercial Banking department in providing services to our customers. You will work across Commercial Banking, Commercial Credit, and retail Sales departments on various projects to help the team meet its goals.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial and data analysis tasks.
- Help prepare for and participate in sales calls.
- Assist with proposal development and underwriting processes.
- Complete projects and tasks assigned to support department operations.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience in accounting within financial services or banking is a plus.
- Strong communication, cooperation, and workflow skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Westlake, Ohio.
- The position is hybrid, with 1 to 2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote.
- Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
