About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the financial services industry through placement within the Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data teams. You will gain experience in areas such as data engineering, data management, data science, digital banking, or the financial crimes unit. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Hoover, Alabama.
What you'll do#
- Assist with projects and department assignments.
- Conduct research and handle administrative or correspondence tasks.
- Attend meetings and gain insight into various business functions.
- Build core skills and knowledge to support your career development.
- Perform tasks that vary based on your specific assigned group.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Majors including Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site for 10 to 11 weeks.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or SAS.
- Experience with visualization software like Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and solve problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
