About the role#
The Emerging Talent Program (ETP) Corporate Banking Group Intern Program provides a 10-week, hands-on experience within the Energy & Natural Resources Group. Interns work in a team environment, collaborating with senior managers on live projects and participating in a technical curriculum designed to enhance professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Compile market data and conduct in-depth industry and company-specific research.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis, including qualitative and quantitative performance reviews and financial statement analysis.
- Conduct financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk and return parameters of transactions.
- Develop client pitch materials, internal deal screening memos, and underwriting committee approval memos.
- Gain exposure to capital markets solutions, including loan syndications, fixed income, equity capital markets, and structured finance.
- Support senior Relationship Managers with call planning coordination and production and pipeline management.
- Ensure quality reporting across sales performance applications and measurement systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active involvement in campus leadership positions or extracurricular activities.
- Prior internship or work experience in a banking-related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
