About the role#
The 2027 Wealth Management Summer Internship provides college students with hands-on experience across various divisions, including Private Wealth, Asset Management, Institutional Services, and Wealth Management Strategy. Interns work as key team members, gaining exposure to financial services through training sessions, networking opportunities with senior leadership, and practical project work. This is a paid, full-time, 10-week program.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic projects by helping to formulate and solve business issues.
- Participate in client discussions regarding asset management, investments, financial planning, and trust planning.
- Assist with day-to-day operational support, including client reporting, analytics, and standard transactional needs such as deposits and transfers.
- Contribute to the preparation of marketing presentations, white papers, and factsheets.
- Support research teams with due diligence, selection, and evaluation of investment managers or marketable securities.
- Provide administrative support and assist with project execution across the Wealth Management group.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Intellectual curiosity and a team-oriented mindset.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (sponsorship is not available).

- This is an on-site position.
- Available locations include Birmingham, AL; Hoover, AL; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; and Little Rock, AR.
