About the role#
The ETP Internship in Private Wealth Management offers a 10-week summer program in Clayton, Missouri. This paid, full-time position provides hands-on experience across wealth management functions, including wealth planning, client service, asset and portfolio management, and fiduciary trust services. You will function as a key team member, supporting both internal initiatives and external client needs while participating in centralized training sessions with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist with technical and non-technical initiatives across the Wealth Management group.
- Support strategic projects by helping to solve key business issues.
- Prepare marketing presentations, white papers, factsheets, and flyers.
- Provide operational support to management, including client reporting and analytics.
- Participate in client discussions regarding investments, financial planning, insurance, lending, tax, accounting, and trust services.
- Assist with standard transactional needs, such as processing deposits, payments, and transfers.
- Support research teams with due diligence, selection, and process improvements for investment managers.
- Attend meetings and gain exposure to basic functions within the financial industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Major in finance, economics, investment management, marketing, data analytics, management information systems, or a related business field.
- Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We do not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Active involvement in campus leadership or extracurricular activities.
