About the role#
Fidelity Bank & Trust offers a summer internship for students entering their senior year of college. This paid, part-time position provides hands-on experience in community banking. You will gain insight into bank operations, build your professional network, and develop skills in communication and leadership.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside our teller team to assist customers and learn daily banking operations.
- Explore various departments, including lending, marketing, retail, compliance, operations, credit, finance, technology, and wealth management.
- Meet with organizational leaders to discuss their career paths.
- Complete projects that contribute to the bank and our customers.
- Develop professional skills in customer service, teamwork, and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a college student entering your senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or Communications.
- Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite.
- A friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in business, finance, and community banking.
- Reliability and the motivation to ask questions and try new tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Dubuque, Iowa.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Travel: Some travel is required.
- Physical requirements: The role requires standing, walking, sitting, and using standard office equipment.
