About the role#
The 2028 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program provides hands-on experience in debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory work. This role is based in the Houston Energy team. You will receive training, ongoing coaching, and access to leadership panels and technical workshops throughout the summer.
Candidates must first attend the Houston Insights Day, a two-day, in-person program held on November 19-20, 2027. This event includes interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and a Superday interview for the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support client pitches and deal execution.
- Build financial models and perform valuations.
- Conduct industry and company research.
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Available to attend the in-person Insights Day on November 19-20, 2027.
- Proven record of achievement in academic and extracurricular activities.
- Strong quantitative skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- Clear interest in Investment Banking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to new situations quickly.
- Personal integrity and a commitment to teamwork.
- High energy and a desire to learn new concepts.
- Independent thinking and decision-making skills.
