About the role#
This position combines the Elevate early career program with a Summer 2028 Financial Services Consulting internship. Elevate is a leadership development program for accounting students that includes a three-day conference and year-long professional development. By applying to this program, you are also applying for the Summer 2028 client service internship within our Risk Consulting practice.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a three-day leadership conference and continued development experiences.
- Work across five sectors: Financial Institutions, Capital Markets, Insurance, Specialty Finance, and Asset Management.
- Support client engagements by sitting in on meetings and preparing reports on consulting services.
- Discuss results and recommendations directly with client personnel at various management levels.
- Analyze client information and document findings using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete projects according to established timelines and critical dates.
- Travel to client locations as required to provide consulting services.
- Attend specific trainings, conferences, and meetings to build professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program with a major in Accounting.
- Completed at least 90 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Anticipated full-time associate start date of Fall 2029 or Winter 2030.
- Minimum 3.4 GPA is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in student organizations or community groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple projects.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to arrange reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
