About the role#
EisnerAmper is hiring a Winter Intern for the Financial Advisory Services team in Miami. This group handles forensic accounting, valuation services, and economic damages calculations for complex legal disputes. You will work alongside managers and partners to support client engagements, research, and expert reporting. This is a paid, part-time internship requiring 20 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Summarize and interpret financial records and data.
- Build accounting, financial, and economic models.
- Use analytical tools to create dashboards and visualizations for management.
- Assist in drafting expert reports and other project deliverables.
- Review opposing expert reports to help prepare rebuttals.
- Coordinate with clients and legal counsel to gather documents and discuss strategy.
- Maintain high standards for professional conduct and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Final graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
- Capability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience is a plus, as is relevant work or internship experience.
Location & details#
- Location: Miami, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027, starting in early January.
- Modality: Hybrid. You must live within a commutable distance and work in the office at least 2-3 days per week.
- Schedule: Business hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
