About the role#
This is a part-time Winter 2027 internship within the Financial & Regulatory Risk Services team at EisnerAmper. You will gain experience in risk advisory, internal audit, and IT risk while supporting client engagements. This position is paid and requires a commitment to the full program starting in early January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in risk assessments across various industries.
- Document the internal control environment by performing process walkthroughs.
- Test entity level, process level, and general computing controls to confirm objectives are met.
- Prepare quality workpapers to support testing and analysis.
- Identify and communicate control issues to the team.
- Apply knowledge of internal controls to client work.
- Demonstrate multi-tasking, teamwork, and responsibility while using technology to enhance deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or an equivalent program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Solid time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Locations: New York, NY; Iselin, NJ; Dallas, TX; Philadelphia, PA.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in-person at your assigned office.
- Schedule: 24 hours per week over 3 business days, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.
