About the role#
This internship provides experience in the public accounting industry. You will work directly with our professionals on client engagements within the Affordable Housing sector. This role is designed to help you build technical skills and prepare for a career as a first-year associate.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various aspects of financial statement audits.
- Learn our firm's systems and business processes.
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Develop technical skills while working as part of a team.
What you'll need#
- Current Sophomore or Junior status, or on track to complete 150 credits for CPA eligibility.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Johns Creek, Georgia.
- Term: Winter 2027, starting in early January.
- Modality: On-site, 40+ hours per week during business hours.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
