About the role#
The Investment Banking Internship Program for the Energy sector provides hands-on experience in debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory work. Participants gain exposure to live client deals and receive ongoing coaching throughout the program. This role is based in Houston and requires full-time, on-site attendance during the summer of 2028. Please note that this program does not offer immigration sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Support client pitches and manage deal execution.
- Build financial models and perform valuations.
- Conduct research on companies and the broader industry.
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations for clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Your expected graduation date falls between December 2028 and Spring 2029.
- You are available to attend the in-person Insights Day in Houston on November 19-20, 2027.
- You possess strong quantitative skills in financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- You are an independent thinker who adapts quickly to new situations.
- You show a strong sense of integrity, teamwork, and a desire to learn.
- You have a record of achievement in academic and extracurricular activities.
