About the role#
This internship provides students with exposure to the financial industry through the Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data group. You will gain insight into various functions while strengthening your core technical skills. Potential placement areas include software engineering, technology operations, enterprise platforms, or cybersecurity.
What you'll do#
- Assist with team projects and attend meetings.
- Conduct research and handle administrative or correspondence tasks.
- Learn about basic functions within your assigned department.
- Track your time, with eligibility for overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A strong interest in developing technical skills and a proven record of achieving results.
- Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with cloud technologies or DevSecOps.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week on-site at the Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, Alabama.
- We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
