About the role#
The Emerging Talent Program (ETP) Corporate Banking Group offers a 10-week summer internship in Charlotte, North Carolina. This program provides hands-on experience through training, coaching, and networking opportunities. Interns collaborate with senior managers on live projects and participate in a technical curriculum designed to enhance professional skills. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Compile market data and conduct in-depth industry and company-specific research.
- Provide fundamental credit analysis, including qualitative and quantitative company performance reviews.
- Conduct financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk and return parameters of transactions.
- Develop client pitch materials and internal deal screening memos.
- Support senior Relationship Managers with call planning coordination and production pipeline management.
- Gain exposure to capital markets solutions, including loan syndications, fixed income, equity capital markets, and derivatives.
- Ensure quality reporting across sales performance applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Prior internship or work experience in a banking-related field.
- Active involvement in leadership positions or extracurricular activities on campus.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated dedication to excellence and achieving results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Regions will not provide sponsorship for work visas for this position.
