About the role#
The Student Deli Clerk role is an on-site position at the Melfort Food Store. This is a paid, full-time opportunity with a rolling term. We welcome students from various fields of study, including Business Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, and Civil Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Provide courteous customer service to all patrons.
- Prepare, wrap, price, and stock products as assigned.
- Maintain and display meat products according to established standards.
- Assist in the preparation of in-store products like sausage and hamburger patties.
- Clean and perform proper maintenance on equipment, including monitoring case temperatures.
- Adhere to all policies regarding sanitation, safety, and the maintenance of association assets.
What you'll need#
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with the public.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Dependability for all scheduled shifts.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
