Deli Clerk (Casual)

About the role#

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a casual Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This role involves working less than 24 hours per week, with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Applicants must be over 14 years of age.

What you'll do#

• Provide exceptional customer service to store patrons.
• Prepare a variety of food items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
• Stock, package, slice, and label products for retail purchase.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need#

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Previous food preparation experience is an asset, though training is available for the right candidate.
