About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a casual Deli Clerk for the Innisfail Food Store. This position involves working less than 24 hours per week, with availability required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings across both weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be over 14 years old.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers.
- Prepare a variety of food items, including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for sale.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- Previous experience with food preparation is an asset, though training is available.
