About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op position based at our corporate office in Mississauga. You will join the category management team to support pricing, promotions, and product data accuracy. This role offers exposure to the end-to-end category management process, from initial planning to final execution in stores.
What you'll do#
- Enter and validate pricing, promotions, and product changes in SAP to ensure accuracy before they go live.
- Manage product data quality by creating and updating listings, removing outdated items, and maintaining current information.
- Analyze Excel reports to identify trends, pricing gaps, or data errors.
- Resolve real-time issues by managing inquiries from stores and suppliers and investigating root causes.
- Review weekly reports to verify that products and promotions are set up correctly.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding upcoming deals and new product launches.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business, Commerce, or Finance program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP.
- Strong spreadsheet skills, including experience with lookups, pivot tables, and data organization.
- High attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Capability to investigate problems and find practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage your time to complete data entry tasks accurately.
