About the role#
As a Merchandising Coordinator Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience in the retail sector by supporting the data and operational needs of our stores and wholesale teams. You will work alongside Retail Enablement, Finance, and Operations departments to ensure our systems remain accurate and reliable. This role is based in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, and involves a mix of independent tasks and team collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain site and customer master information while following established policies.
- Enter and update data across multiple systems to ensure integrity.
- Monitor for errors and report issues as they arise.
- Investigate data discrepancies to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
- Provide data and insights to support team deliverables.
- Handle sensitive information with care and responsibility.
- Retrieve specific data based on customer requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business, Commerce, Finance, or related program.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, including functions like lookups, matching, and data organization.
- Strong attention to detail to spot and correct discrepancies.
- Initiative to identify problems and propose solutions.
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively with various internal teams.
