About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations while completing the training required to become a licensed Pharmacist. This role focuses on professional development, patient care, and administrative tasks within our pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and process transactions.
- Assist with prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Receive and release prescriptions and answer phone inquiries.
- Perform compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Manage drug orders, including creation, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
- Promote pharmacy profile programs.
- Complete professional activities aligned with your current level of education.
- Follow company standards and protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
