About the role#
As a Pharmacist Intern at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, administration, and customer care. This role is designed to support your training as you work toward becoming a licensed Pharmacist. You will be expected to contribute to a positive environment for both customers and employees while completing professional pharmacy tasks suited to your current level of education.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and process transactions.
- Handle pharmacy tasks including prescription assembly, data entry, receiving and releasing prescriptions, and filing.
- Assist with compounding, pill pack assembly, and drug order management.
- Promote pharmacy programs and professional services.
- Manage administrative duties such as answering phones, cleaning, and ordering supplies.
- Implement and follow company standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
