About the role#
This is a 12-month internship within the Oncology Medical Affairs team. You will work alongside Medical Advisors to execute projects and tactics that support the broader oncology strategy. This role offers exposure to real-world pharmaceutical strategy and involves working with cross-functional teams on both regional and national initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist in project management and execution of medical affairs tactics such as advisory boards, medical plans, and congress support.
- Develop communication tools and content to support team strategy.
- Conduct literature searches and create scientific summaries to inform upcoming projects.
- Coordinate and participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaborations.
- Summarize team insights and activities to help inform medical strategy.
- Support general medical affairs field and head office projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Health Sciences, though advanced degrees are preferred.
- Understanding of clinical trials, clinical development programs, and real-world or Phase IV studies.
- Demonstrated interest in medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and effective time management skills.
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Experience with project management and AI tools is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative mindset with demonstrated leadership ability.

- Compensation: The annual base salary range is 42,908.00 to 56,316.75 CAD.
