About the role#
As an Enterprise Data Co-op, you will work both independently and within a team to support marketing, loyalty, and digital business programs. You will gain exposure to data engineering processes, including the development of AI Agents and post-campaign analytics. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity and building efficient workflows within a large-scale retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Create and update workflows that move data from source systems into cloud platforms like Snowflake.
- Use SQL to verify that data is accurate, complete, and aligned with business requirements.
- Clean, transform, and organize data to ensure it is reliable for reporting.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand how to build resilient data pipelines.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and present fact-based observations.
- Track pipeline performance, set up alerts, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Identify ways to improve data processes by building simple tools or automation.
- Measure and track the performance of AI Agents.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related program.
- Ability to write queries to explore, validate, and manipulate data.
- Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language.
- Interest in building tools or automation.
- Curiosity for how systems work and a willingness to take initiative to improve processes.
- Enjoyment in working with data and spotting patterns in complex information.
