About the role#
Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is hiring a student for a paid Bakery/Deli Clerk position at the Yorkton Food Store. This role is a full-time, on-site opportunity for the 2026 summer term. We welcome students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or Nutrition.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, wrap, and price deli and bakery items like sandwiches, salads, and muffins.
- Operate printers, scales, and slicers.
- Unload freight and stock merchandise within the bakery and deli departments.
- Provide customer service that makes guests feel welcome.
- Work with the team to find solutions for store operations.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on honesty and trustworthiness.
- Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate.
