Liquor Clerk (PT, Erin Ridge Liquor Store)

About the role#

North Central Co-op is seeking a part-time Liquor Clerk to join the team at the Erin Ridge Liquor Store in St. Albert, Alberta. This role involves supporting store operations and providing service to members and customers. Successful candidates must have availability to work evenings and weekends.

What you'll do#

• Provide customer service and maintain a safe, efficient store operation.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
• Process and package customer purchases using the point of sale terminal.
• Manage cash handling, including preparing daily cash reconciliations.
• Organize, clean, and stock merchandise.
• Assist team members with general housekeeping and assigned duties.

What you'll need#

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20lbs consistently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in liquor retail, cashier roles, or customer service is an asset.
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, or stocking is an asset.
• Relevant certifications, such as WSET training or ProServe Liquor Staff Training, are considered assets.
