About the role#
This is a full-time, paid student position based in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance are encouraged to apply for this on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Process customer purchases using the cash register, including coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorizations.
- Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
- Assist in planning and organizing merchandise displays for regular stock, sales, and promotional events.
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and level of dependability.
- Monitor the store to prevent the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
What you'll need#
- An energetic and upbeat nature.
- The ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public.
- A desire to learn and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision once training is complete.
- Must be bondable.
