About the role#

Lake Country Co-op is seeking two full-time Cashiers to join our Food Store team in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This role focuses on delivering high-quality service and supporting the daily operations of our retail location. You will work under the direction of the Food Store Team Leader to ensure our members and guests receive an exceptional shopping experience.

What you'll do#

• Provide service across various communication channels to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Perform cashing duties, including processing cash, credit, and debit payments, and providing accurate change.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
• Assist with store operations, including packing groceries, stocking shelves, and performing general housekeeping.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety, asset protection, and the sale of age-restricted items such as lottery products.
• Support the company’s vision and safety principles in all daily tasks.

What you'll need#

• Previous experience with Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong cash management skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain high production levels with minimal supervision.
• A results-oriented mindset and a commitment to honesty and trustworthiness.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
