About the role#
Lake Country Co-op is hiring two full-time Cashiers for our Food Store in Prince Albert. You will report to the Food Store Team Leader and support our mission by providing a strong customer-focused experience for our members.
What you'll do#
- Handle all cashing duties, including processing cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Provide service to guests and pack groceries.
- Stock and face shelves while keeping your workstation clean and sanitized.
- Follow company policies regarding safety and the sale of age-restricted items like lottery tickets.
- Support Asset Protection and Safety Management systems.
What you'll need#
- Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Strong cash management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Honesty, trustworthiness, and a drive to perform well.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- A flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
