About the role#
KDAF/CW33 is seeking an intern in Dallas, Texas, for an opportunity to explore broadcast journalism, MMJ reporting, photography, editing, and other communication-related fields. This program provides a comprehensive look at how a television station operates, allowing participants to rotate through various departments to identify their professional interests.
What you'll do#
- Work in each station department, including News, Production, Promotions, Sales, and Administration.
- Participate in a meaningful learning experience under the supervision of an appropriate manager.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to learn a variety of assignments and tasks.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.

- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Schedule: 20-30 hours per week for up to 12 weeks.
- Modality: On-site.
