    About the role#

    This unpaid internship offers a structured learning experience within the newsroom at Nexstar Media Group. You will work under supervision to gain practical experience in broadcast journalism and production without replacing or displacing any staff members.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in news production tasks, including producing and reporting.
    • Engage in a supervised, meaningful learning experience focused on broadcast media.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a college student with a focus on Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
    • Advanced skill level to manage the complexities of a news environment.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • A collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn.
    • Ability to be flexible with scheduling.
