Paid News Producer Intern

About the role#

This paid internship offers qualified students a supervised, meaningful learning experience within a broadcast media environment. Interns may be placed in various departments, including News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a formal written evaluation from their supervisor.

What you'll do#

• Participate in hands-on work within broadcast journalism, video production, or related communication functions.
• Collaborate with team members across the assigned department.
• Engage in learning opportunities to develop professional skills in media production.

What you'll need#

• Current full-time enrollment at an IBA Member school.
• Completion of at least 60 credit hours.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Academic focus in broadcasting, journalism, media studies, or a related communications field.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
• Previous internship experience is considered a plus.
