About the role#
Nexstar Media Group offers paid internships for students pursuing degrees in broadcast journalism, video production, and communication. You will work across departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. You will receive supervision throughout the program and complete a written review with your supervisor at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured learning experience within a broadcast environment.
- Collaborate with team members across various production and news departments.
- Engage in daily tasks to support station operations.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an IBA member school.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- A major in broadcasting or a related communication field.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts.
- A willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.

- This position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- Internships are offered on a rolling basis.
