About the role#
WSYR-TV Newschannel 9 offers internship opportunities for students pursuing degrees in communications, journalism, or media studies. You will work within departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, or Community Development. This is a paid position designed to provide a supervised, meaningful learning experience.
What you'll do#
- Commit to 16 hours per week for a 15-week term.
- Complete two eight-hour shifts each week.
- Participate in projects that require an advanced skill level.
- Receive a written performance review from your supervisor upon completion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- You must be a senior in your final year of study.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
