About the role#
KFOR is looking for a student to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will work alongside experienced meteorologists to learn about forecasting in a unique weather market. This internship is open to students currently pursuing studies in broadcast meteorology.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience with Baron and WSI/The Weather Company weather systems.
- Watch and assist in the preparation of live newscasts.
- Practice and refine your meteorological skills.
- Receive feedback, tips, and advice from our team of meteorologists.
- Complete work hours as required by your educational institution.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student studying broadcast meteorology.
- You must receive course credit for this internship.
- Strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn.
