About the role#
This internship at KFSN-TV (ABC30) provides an educational experience within a major market television station. You will rotate through various departments to observe how the newsroom functions and contribute to daily operations. The program runs from January 2027 through early June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the assignment desk by answering phones and conducting beat checks.
- Transcribe news interviews and research news topics, including online and social media sources.
- Assist with the planning of news series and promotional campaigns.
- Observe editors, reporters, writers, producers, directors, and technical crews.
- Attend editorial and production meetings.
- Travel with the marketing department, news reporters, and field crews for stories and live remotes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Unrestricted work authorization.
- You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
- Ability to provide your own housing and reliable transportation in the Fresno area.

- Location: Fresno, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Sunday. This may include nights and weekends.
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $17.75 per hour.
