About the role#
This unpaid internship provides a structured learning environment focused on news production. Interns will gain exposure to the daily operations of a broadcast newsroom, including producing and reporting tasks. You will be supervised throughout the program to ensure a meaningful educational experience that complements your academic studies without replacing or displacing current staff.
What you'll do#
- Participate in news production workflows, including producing and reporting.
- Engage in hands-on learning activities under the guidance of newsroom professionals.
- Observe and assist with the technical and editorial complexities of broadcast media.

- Current enrollment as a college student with a focus on journalism, communications, or video production.
- Advanced skill level to manage the complexities of a news environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexibility in scheduling and a proactive willingness to learn.
