    About the role#

    WANE 15 offers an internship program designed to provide students with meaningful educational and professional experiences in the news industry. This program focuses on helping students meet their academic and career goals through hands-on learning and mentorship from station management.

    What you'll do#

    • Explore career interests within the news industry.
    • Acquire marketable job skills and learn the ropes of broadcast media.
    • Establish professional contacts.
    • Gain practical work experience.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited school, college, or university.
    • A strong desire to learn and engage with the industry.
    • Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.

    • Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
    • Term: Fall 2026.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Interns are not entitled to wages, compensation, or benefits.
