About the role#
This unpaid internship offers a learning experience for students interested in broadcast journalism and media production. You will work directly with our news team to gain exposure to the daily operations of a broadcast station. The role is designed to provide supervision and mentorship throughout your time here.
What you'll do#
- Assist with news production tasks including reporting and producing.
- Participate in a structured learning environment under professional supervision.
- Observe and support the daily workflow of a newsroom.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program with a focus on Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- An advanced skill level to keep up with the complexity of news production.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A flexible approach to your schedule and tasks.

- This position is based on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Hours and schedules are determined on a case-by-case basis.
