About the role#
WSAV-TV in Savannah offers internships for students interested in broadcast journalism, news photography, editing, and related communication fields. You will work under the supervision of a news manager to gain experience in a professional newsroom environment. This is an unpaid internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in news producing.
- Assist in news reporting.
- Engage in digital news activities.
- Contribute to weather coverage.

- You must receive course credit for your internship hours.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to learn a variety of assignments and tasks.
- A collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Priority is given to college juniors and seniors.
Location & details#
- Location: Savannah, Georgia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 20 to 30 hours per week for up to 12 weeks.
- Schedule: Shifts may include early mornings, days, or nights.
- Note: Interns are not permitted to drive station vehicles.
