    About the role#

    WSAV-TV in Savannah, Georgia, offers internships for students interested in broadcast journalism, news photography, editing, and related communication fields. This program provides a supervised learning experience designed to support students gaining academic credit.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in news producing tasks.
    • Assist in news reporting activities.
    • Engage in digital news production.
    • Contribute to weather coverage.

    What you'll need#

    • Must receive course credit for internship hours.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Flexibility to learn a variety of assignments and tasks.
    • A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
    • Priority is given to college juniors and seniors.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Savannah, Georgia.
    • Schedule: 20-30 hours per week for up to 12 weeks, depending on credit requirements.
    • Shifts: May include early mornings, days, or nights.
    • Status: This is an unpaid internship. Interns are not permitted to drive station vehicles.
