About the role#
This internship provides exposure to all aspects of newsroom operations at WREG in Memphis. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build practical skills in your chosen area of interest.
What you'll do#
- Assist with news production and news gathering tasks.
- Create content for social media platforms.
- Shadow team members to learn how the newsroom functions.
- Complete assigned duties related to daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student at a college or university.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An interest in storytelling and connecting with the local community.
- The ability to follow directions and work well within a team.
