About the role#
WSPA-TV in Spartanburg offers internship opportunities for students pursuing degrees in broadcast journalism, video production, and communications. Interns will receive supervision and participate in a meaningful learning experience across departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. Upon completion, students will receive a written evaluation from their supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Commit to 16 hours per week over a 15-week period.
- Work two eight-hour shifts per week.
- Engage in complex projects requiring an advanced skill level.
- Collaborate with team members and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
What you'll need#
- Must be a senior in the final year of study.
- Enrollment in a Communications or Journalism program.
- Previous internship experience is considered a plus.
