About the role#
WJZY, Queen City News is looking for an intern to join the news department. This is an unpaid position for current college students who want to develop their skills in broadcast and digital journalism.
What you'll do#
- Write content for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Shoot and edit video.
- Manage the assignment desk and monitor emergency scanners.
- Contribute to daily newscasts.
- Assist with daily news gathering and development.

- You must be a current college student.
- Strong attention to detail.
- An eagerness to learn all aspects of broadcast and digital journalism.
