About the role#
This unpaid internship offers a learning experience in broadcast news production. You will work directly with our team in Indianapolis to gain practical insight into how a newsroom operates.
What you'll do#
Your time will focus on the various stages of news production. This includes tasks related to producing and reporting. You will receive consistent supervision throughout the term to ensure you gain meaningful experience without replacing or displacing current staff.
What you'll need#
You must be a college student currently pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, or a related field. Because news production is complex, we look for students with an advanced skill level. You should be collaborative, flexible, and ready to learn. Strong communication skills are essential.
Location & details#
This role is based on-site at our Indianapolis office. The schedule is determined on a case-by-case basis.
