About the role#
WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, SC offers internship opportunities for students pursuing degrees in broadcast journalism, video production, and communications. Interns participate in a supervised, structured learning experience within departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a written performance evaluation from their supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Commit to 16 hours per week for a 15-week term.
- Work two eight-hour shifts per week.
- Engage in complex projects requiring advanced skill levels.
What you'll need#
- Must be a senior in the final year of study.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively and a strong willingness to learn.
- Previous internship experience is considered a plus.
