About the role#
WSPA-TV in Spartanburg offers internship opportunities for students pursuing degrees in broadcast journalism, video production, and other communications fields. Interns participate in a supervised, meaningful learning experience within departments such as News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development. At the end of the program, students receive a formal written evaluation from their supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Commit to 16 hours per week for a 15-week duration.
- Complete two eight-hour shifts each week.
- Engage in complex projects requiring advanced skill levels.
- Collaborate with team members and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
What you'll need#
- Must be a senior in the final year of concentrated study.
- Previous internship experience is considered a plus.
- Ability to handle complex tasks with an advanced skill set.
