About the role#
This internship provides students with educational and work experiences across several departments, including News, Promotion, Digital Media, Sales, Weather, Sports, Creative Services, and Production. Interns receive direct supervision and training while contributing to the daily operations of the station. This is an unpaid position designed to support academic and career goals.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned tasks across various departments.
- Participate in educational and work activities.
- Follow instructions from staff and cooperate with team members.
- Exert effort to learn and gain experience from training.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company data, trade secrets, and business information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Ability to receive course credit for the internship.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of assignments and tasks.
- Commitment to following all company safety rules and procedures.
